Timberland Computer Signup Help

To sign up for an Internet computer, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the button next to "Signup for a Computer".

  2. Enter your Timberland library barcode number. Include the D or C at the beginning of the barcode.

  3. Enter the last four digits of your telephone number or your PIN number.

  4. Click on the "Submit" button.  

  5. Select a library from the drop-down list or the map.

  6. Click "Search By Computer Type".

  7. From the Computer Type dropdown list, select the type of computer you wish to schedule.

  8. Click on the "Search" button.

  9. Choose a day and time from the schedule displayed by clicking on "Available".

  10. MAKE SURE that the message displayed says that your request was SUCCESSFUL.

  11. The next screen displays the library, computer name, and start and end of time of reservation. Please make note of this information or click on "Print a Reminder" to print your reservation information. Note that a printed reminder only indicates that you made the reservation. If you subsequently cancel the reservation, you will not be guaranteed the scheduled time listed on the printed reminder. 

  12. Close your personal record by clicking on "Logout" on the small menu bar at the top of the screen.

Note:

  • You MUST log on within 10 minutes of your start time or your reservation will be canceled.

  • Have you changed your phone number recently and forgotten to update your record with us? Try and use your old phone number. (If your old phone number works, be sure to let library staff know you have a new phone number.)
